Advantage. Zero-2-Beta.

Go from back-of-the-napkin scribbles to a working, production-ready, beta version of your application in less than 100 days. Our "Zero to Beta" service is designed to help entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs get their ideas into market quickly.

"Zero to Beta" ensures that you are building the right app, with the right features, targeted at the appropriate segments, delivered in an accelerated timeframe. It is aimed at the entrepreneur or product manager that has raised seven figures in seed capital or internal funding to provide a 12-18 month runway for their startup. They know that if they can demonstrate a track record of delivering upon milestones, they will trigger future rounds of investment.

What’s Included?

The components of Zero to Beta include the first three stages of the Product Development Life Cycle:

The goal of this offering is to (a) focus on the user experience (one of the few true differentiators), and (b) quickly deploy a working prototype. Before we tackle the UX, we backwalk into the product strategy and ensure that all parties are crystal clear regarding the strategy and product roadmap.

Zero to Beta is more than slick graphics and coding:

"Zero to Beta" means that we are moving your business to a beta launch event in less than 100 days, not just building your app. Building the app is one part of the offering, but "Zero to Beta" also includes other components such as product strategy & definition, user experience design, and pre-launch preparation.

There are indeed app dev shops which offer some form of "app in a box" offering. These firms use frameworks (such as RoR), pre-built widgets, and components to bake an app in a compressed time frame. These firms can (and in some cases actually do) deliver a fine app. In other cases, they result in a complete disaster (we've rescued a couple of clients from these implosions).

Why Zero to Beta Makes Sense:

Over the past two years, we have seen new web offerings flounder due to:

  • A lack of understanding into which customer segments the app is supposed to serve
  • Unclear value proposition and no mapping of product features to the segments' wants/needs
  • Little effort to envision an engaging user experience for these segments
  • Not enough talent, or over-reliance on “cheap” talent

As you may well imagine, the smartest people can still do the dumbest things during the first 100 days. The end result: an overly-complicated app with tons of features that tries to be all things to all people. Having worked in many startups, we know the patterns that constitute success and can ask the right questions to ensure your idea doesn’t derail. We also roll up our sleeves to build the financial model, customer acquisition model, operational plans, and technology architectures that form the basis for your business case. With Enablus as your partner during the first 100 days, you increase your odds for online success.

What is it worth to be able to go back to your VC or Angel investor and say "we hit our first milestone in less than 4 months since you stroked the check"?
